My rucksack

This is the rucksack I will be carrying when I walk the Ridgeway. We will have to carry everything we need to wear, eat, drink, and sleep. I hope there's enough room!

New boots!

It's my birthday today, and I got some stuff for the walk:

Three pairs of hiking socks

I also got the ukulele I'd asked for, but I won't be taking it on the walk with me!

Our tent

My dad put the tent up in the living room just to show me, but we haven't taken it walking yet. We are going to use this one because it's very easy to put up so we won't be messing about in the rain when we're tired. Dad says he's going to attach it to his rucksack. We hope it doesn't get too windy and blow him away.
