Another donation!

While I have been busy enjoying summer holidays and getting ready for going back to school, several more lovely people have sponsored me. (See screenshot below.) The total donated for Luton Foodbank is £755, which makes the total Luton Foodbank has received is £886.26 when Gift Aid is added in. This is amazing!

It's SO amazing that it means each mile of the Ridgeway was worth over £10.

That means every single mile provided an entire food parcel - paid for by YOU, the lovely sponsors!

I would very much like to raise £10 for each of the 139km of The Ridgeway, meaning that I still have some way to go to reach the target of £1390 before my giving page closes down. I think word is starting to spread because some of my recent sponsors aren't people I know. (I think Barbara might have read about me on Facebook.) This is great, as the more people who know, the more likely I'll get sponsors, which means more cash for Luton Foodbank's amazing work, which means fewer people going hungry.

What an amazing Sunday! Mary, of our street's residents' association, sent information about my challenge to all the residents and landlords. Within four hours the running total had leapt to £435, which means Luton Foodbank gets £516.26 after the Government's Gift Aid is added. Thank you so much Mary, Hassan, and Shirley!
